The Judicial Service Commission (JSC) has received 17 applications for two vacant positions on the bench of the Civil Court of the Maldives.
JSC opened for applications for the vacant position on August 24. JSC received 17 applications when the deadline passed on September 11. The positions were vacated following the retirement of Judge Abdulla Ali and the resignation of Judge Zubair Mohamed.
The salary of a Civil Court judge is USD3,037 with a living allowance of USD976 and a risk allowance of USD107.
