Housing Development Corporation (HDC) has extended the application deadline for the sale of 74 plots of land in Hulhumale'.
HDC first opened the land plots for sale from August 21 to September 1. However, HDC has now extended the deadline until October 4.
HDC said the land plots will be sold by tender from Hulhumale' Phase II. The land plots range from 1,095 acres to 2,588 acres and include 22 beachfront plots and 52 plots near the beach. The bidding price for the beachfront plots is USD423 per acre and the bidding price for the plots near the beach is USD358 per acre. HDC said all bidding parties must secure the bid security of USD65,152. In addition, HDC revealed bids for beachfront plots will be opened on October 3, and bids for plots near the beach will be opened on October 4.
It is the third time land plots are sold to the public from Hulhumale' Phase II. Earlier, 34 plots near the beach and 26 plots were sold from the beachfront.
