The government has expressed gratitude for the strong commitment and contribution of Sweden to strengthening the partnership between the Maldives and the European Union (EU).
During the farewell call by the Ambassador of Sweden Klas Molin on the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Ahmed Khaleel, the two countries explored ways to further strengthen the existing bilateral cooperation, especially in the areas of tourism, environment, and climate change.
Additionally, State Minister Khaleel congratulated Ambassador Molin on the completion of his successful tenure and thanked him for his hard work in strengthening the friendly cooperation between the Maldives and Sweden.
