Maldives Fund Management Corporation (MFMC) has decided to develop an online travel agency to promote the Maldives as a tourism destination.
MFMC has announced it is seeking a party to develop the online travel agency under the initiative. MFMC said the travel agency is being developed with assistance from the European Union (EU).
Speaking to PSM News, Project Officer Moosa Mijad said an online travel agency is being developed to enlist services provided by guesthouses and liveaboards. He said the agency will be promoted on online platforms to increase exposure.
MFMC expects to develop and launch the product prototype by March 2023.
