Dhiraagu, the first Maldivian telecommunications company, has renewed its corporate membership for Maldives Red Crescent (MRC).
Dhiraagu became a corporate member of MRC in 2018 and has continuously renewed its membership and extended assistance to the organisation. After renewing the corporate membership, Dhiraagu will be able to provide assistance to MRC volunteers and first responders active in various parts of the country, as well as assist in the development of the organisation. Dhiraagu is also involved in telecommunications support related to the toll-free helpline for mental health support.
Director at Dhiraagu Mohamed Mirshad said Dhiraagu stated that it was proud to assist in the humanitarian efforts of MRC and support the work of the volunteers. Additionally, MRC commended Dhiraagu for its continuous support of humanitarian efforts over the years that have helped the organisation reach the most vulnerable populations in the community. It stated that it looks forward to more years of meaningful collaborations and strengthening the partnership.
