Maldives and Russia have reviewed key bilateral cooperation areas between the two countries and multilateral issues of mutual importance. The discussions took place during a farewell call by the Ambassador of Russia to the Maldives, Yuri Materiy on Foreign Secretary Ahmed Latheef.
During the meeting, Foreign Secretary Latheef congratulated Ambassador Materiy on the completion of his successful tenure and expressed appreciation for his role in strengthening the bilateral ties between the Maldives and Russia.
Foreign Secretary Latheef was accompanied by Joint Secretary Shiuneen Rasheed and Assistant Director Mohamed Shaffau Ibrahim at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
