Indian High Commission relocated to Hulhumale’

The High Commission of India has been relocated to Hulhumale’.

The high commission stated it is now located at Lot No. 11499, Hithigas Magu 4, Hulhumale' Phase I. It was previously located at Athireege Aage, Ameer Ahmed Magu, Male’ City.

The government is working to move all foreign embassies from Male’ City to Hulhumale’. As such, the government has decided to provide land in Hulhumale’ Phase II to the embassies.

The government had laid the foundation to construct a new building in Hulhumale’ Phase II for the Indian High Commission in 2019 during an official trip of Minister of External Affairs of India Sushma Swaraj to the Maldives.
