Housing Development Corporation (HDC) has commenced a series of health screening camps in Hulhumale’.
HDC is conducting the health screening camps in collaboration with Community Nurse Volunteers (CNV). The aim of the programme is to create health awareness in the community. The programme facilitates simple tests such as blood sugar and blood pressure tests, and provides information to participants on how to stay healthy through exercise and food.
The first camp of the programme began in the Hulhumale’ beach area on August 6. A large number of residents have taken part in the camp.
HDC revealed the camp is set to be conducted twice every month. HDC said the camp will be held in Hulhumale’ Phase I as well as Phase II.
