Governor of Maharashtra Shri Bhagat Singh Koshyari has hosted a special lunch in honour of President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih and his delegation and welcomed them to Mumbai, India.
At the lunch hosted in Raj Bhavan, Mumbai, President Solih and Governor Koshyari spoke about an array of topics of mutual interest and discussed prospects for collaboration.
President Solih travelled to Mumbai after visiting New Delhi and holding official high-level engagements with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Government of India. He also attended the Delhi edition of the India-Maldives Business Forum during his stay in New Delhi.
President Solih is currently on a four-day official visit to India at the invitation of Prime Minister Modi. A high-level Maldivian delegation and Maldivian business leaders are accompanying the him on the visit.
