BML selects second phase projects of Community Fund 2022

The Bank of Maldives (BML) has announced the five winning proposals for the second quarter of its Community Fund for the year.

BML revealed the winning five projects are the fish filleting platform in Himandhoo, Alifu Alifu Atoll submitted by Club New Friends, the installation of reverse osmosis (RO) machines, and water dispensers in Bodufulhadhoo School, Alifu Alifu Atoll, submitted by Revolutionary Bodufolhudhoo Generation in addition to the fish filleting platform in Neykurendhoo, Haa Dhaalu Atoll submitted by Association for Neykurendhoo Development, the renovation of pre-school park in Fenfushi, Alifu Dhaalu Atoll submitted by Fenfushi Zuvaanunge Dhirun and the fish filleting platform in Hulhudheli, Dhaalu Atoll submitted by Hulhudheli Island Social and Sports Association.

The Community Fund is a programme to empower non-governmental organisations (NGOs) to contribute to their communities through sustainable projects. The national bank has provided financial assistance for 70 projects across the country through the fund.
