Vice President Faisal Naseem has visited Baa Atoll Hospital and the Family and Children’s Service Centre (FCSC)’s Amaan Veshi in Eydhafushi, Baa Atoll to observe the condition of the facilities and to inquire about challenges faced in providing services. He visited the two facilities as part of his ongoing unofficial visit to Baa Atoll.
After arriving in Eydhafushi, Vice Preisdent Naseem first visited Amaan Veshi, which accommodates children under state care. During his visit, the vice president met with children housed at the facility and observed the overall condition of the facility. He also inquired about the difficulties faced by children and staff at the state care facility.
After concluding his visit to Amaan Veshi, Vice President Naseem visited Baa Atoll Hospital and inquired about the difficulties faced by the hospital in providing its services. He also observed the services of the newly established Dialysis Unit at the hospital.
During his visit to Eydhafushi, Vice President Naseem also met with members of the island council to inquire about the most pertinent needs of the residents of the island.
