Vaccination centres to be closed during Eid holidays

Health Protection Agency (HPA) has stated COVID-19 vaccination centres in the Greater Male’ Region will be closed during the Eid al-Ad’ha holidays.

COVID-19 vaccination is currently carried out in three centres in the Greater Male’ Region. They are Dhamanaveshi, Dharumavantha Hospital and Hulhumale’ Hospital.

HPA said the three vaccination centres in the Greater Male’ Region will be closed during the Eid holidays. HPA said vaccination service will resume on July 17.

HPA is administering COVID-19 vaccines to all individuals above the age of 12. As per the latest statistics, more than 85% of the eligible population have received two doses of the COVID-19 vaccine.
