Attorney General’s Office (AGO) has revealed that it provided 428 legal counsels during the first six months of this year.
The latest statistics published by AGO reveals that state institutions had submitted a total of 471 requests for legal counsel in the first six months of this year. AGO has responded to 428 requests, most of which consisted of giving counsels relating to agreements.
As such, AGO provided counsels on 122 matters relating to agreements, 81 counsels on matters relating to regulations, 26 counsels on policies, 5 on committees, 7 on parliament bills, and 187 counsels on other legal issues.
AGO has been publishing statistics regarding its work since the appointment of Attorney General Ibrahim Riffath. It has also been providing details on cases of public interest.
