Contract awarded for the development of 50 housing units in Milandhoo

Ministry of National Planning, Housing and Infrastructure has contracted a local company to develop 50 housing units in Milandhoo, Shaviyani Atoll.

The project was contracted to Flexinc Private Limited. The contract for the project was signed by Director General of Housing Ahmed Wishan and Managing Director of Flexinc, Najah Shareef, during a ceremony held on July 3.

The project was contracted at a price of USD3 million. The duration given for the project is 270 days.

The housing units to be developed under the project would have an area of 1,000sqft. Each unit will consist of three bedrooms, three bathrooms, a sitting room, kitchen, dining room, laundry area and a storeroom.
