Four land plots allocated for street vendors in Addu City Meedhoo

Addu City Council has allocated four land plots in Addu City Meedhoo for street vendors.

The four land plots have been allocated from three regions of Meedhoo. As such, two land plots have been allocated from the Meedhoo Tourism Zone and one land plot each from the Koagannu area and Veyraando area. Each land plot has a size of 100sqft.

Addu City Council has opened applications to operate street vendors in the four allocated areas. The council said all registered businesses and cooperative societies can apply to acquire space to run a street vendor business. The council said submission of proposals will take place at 1030hrs on July 3 at the Meedhoo Ward Office of the council.
