Agreement signed for the development of Hajj Corporation’s building in Hulhumale’

Maldives Hajj Corporation has signed an agreement with Housing Development Corporation (HDC) for the development of its building in Hulhumale’.

The agreement for the development of the new eight-story building of Hajj Corporation was signed during a special ceremony held on June 21. The agreement was signed by the Managing Director of Hajj Corporation Ismail Hameed and the Managing Director of HDC Suhail Ahmed.

The new building of Hajj Corporation is to be developed in a 5,000sqft land plot in front of Amin Avenue Oak in Hulhumale’. The development of the building is scheduled to be completed within three years.

Maldives Hajj Corporation was established 8 years ago, to facilitate Hajj and Umrah pilgrimages for Maldivians at affordable prices. The corporation has been operating its office in rental spaces, leading to difficulties in managing its operations. The corporation said the development of the new building will enable the improvement of its services to the public.
