Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has mobilised the site for the shore protection project in Bandos, Kaafu Atoll.
The shore protection project in Bandos was contracted to MTCC by Orchid Holdings Private Limited. The scope of the project involves constructing a 557m breakwater on the island. The site for the project was mobilised on June 13.
MTCC has recently been undertaking projects related to the tourism industry. As such, the company completed the reclamation and shore protection of three islands for Centara Resorts last year.
