The first medical clinic of the Hiya neighbourhood, Hiya Medical Centre, has been officially opened.
Hiya Medical Centre was established by Life Support Medical Services Private Limited. The clinic was officially inaugurated by Managing Director of Aasandha Company Limited Mariyam Shafeeq during a special ceremony held on June 15.
Speaking to PSM News, Managing Director of Life Support Medical Services, Captain Ahmed Maumoon said the clinic has been designed to provide a multitude of different services. In this regard, he noted the clinic will provide OPD consultation of specialist doctors, X-ray and scanning services, and do minor procedures. He added the clinic will also include a dental centre, and a treatment facility for patients in day observation.
Furthermore, Maumoon revealed specialist doctors in the fields of obstetrics and gynecology, pediatrics, orthopedics, ENT and dermatology will be providing consultations at the clinic. He noted memos for scans and tests, as well as follow-up appointments will be arranged directly from the consultation rooms. He added the clinic will also undertake home visits for old age and critically ill patients.
Hiya Medical Centre will be open from 0800hrs until 2230hrs everyday. The clinic’s services are covered under the Aasandha health insurance scheme.
