Bangkok Airways to resume flights to the Maldives

Thailand's Bangkok Airways has decided to resume flights to the Maldives.

Bangkok Airways halted flights to the Maldives in March 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The airline used to operate four flights a week from Bangkok to the Maldives back then.

Bangkok Airways is scheduled to resume flights from Sunabami International Airport to Velana International Airport on July 22. The flights are scheduled to operate every Tuesday, Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

All individuals who have completed COVID-19 vaccination doses are not required to quarantine upon arrival in Bangkok, Thailand.
