Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdulla Shahid has arrived in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on an official visit. He is visiting Saudi Arabia at the invitation of the Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud.
During the visit, Minister Shahid will meet with his counterpart Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud and deliver a letter from President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih to the King of Saudi Arabia Salman Bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud. The two Foreign Ministers will also hold bilateral talks and explore avenues to further enhance the long-standing bilateral ties between the governments. They will also review the ongoing development cooperation projects and multilateral issues of mutual interest and priorities between both countries.
Minister Shahid is accompanied by the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Ahmed Khaleel.
