JSC seeking a judge for the High Court

Judicial Service Commission (JSC) has opened applications for the vacant position at the judges’ bench of the High Court of the Maldives.

Applications to fill the vacant position at the judges’ bench of the High Court has been opened until June 9. Applicants must be at least 25 years of age, and must hold at least a bachelor’s degree related to law. They must also have at least five years of experience working as an attorney or a judge.

The position was vacated following the resignation of Judge Ali Sameer on April 17. Sameer has recently been appointed as the Deputy Prosecutor General.
