President invited to attend a FIFA World Cup match in Qatar

President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has been invited to attend a match of the FIFA World Cup to be held in Qatar later this year. The invitation was extended by the Chief Executor Officer (CEO) and Managing Director of Ooredoo Maldives, Khalid Hassan Al-Hamadi, during a meeting held at the President’s Office on May 12.

At the meeting, President Solih inquired about the efforts by Ooredoo Maldives to improve its services. CEO Al-Hamadi extended an invitation to President Solih to attend a match in the upcoming 2022 FIFA World Cup to be held in Qatar. He also presented the president with an Adidas Al-Rihla, the official match ball for the tournament.

The 2022 FIFA World Cup will be held in Qatar from November 21 to December 18.
