President urges society to preserve the dignity of children

President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has called on society to make every effort to protect and preserve the dignity of every child.

In a statement on the occasion of Children's Day, President Solih stressed that it was the responsibility of society to ensure the safety and security of children and to ensure their well-being. The president said Maldivians must seek to expand the opportunities for children to reach their full potential through the modern education system and pay special attention to instilling the true Islamic faith, its values, and virtues in the hearts of young children. He also spoke about insulating children from negative influences and ensuring they have the opportunity to grow up in a peaceful and stable society.

Furthermore, President Solih spoke about increasing environmental awareness among children, describing it as a significant investment for the country's future.
