Vice President emphasises need to instill love for Holy Quran

Vice President Faisal Naseem has emphasised the need to instill love and interest in the hearts of the young for the Holy Quran. He made the remarks in the meeting held with Al-Hafiz Ahmed Nabeeh Abdul Gadir.

During the meeting, the vice president congratulated Al-Hafiz Ahmed Nabeeh Abdul Gadir for becoming a finalist in the Dubai International Quran Competition 2022. Al-Hafiz Ahmed Nabeeh represented the Maldives in the competition held in the UAE.

At the meeting, the vice president described the hafiz as an inspiration to all young children and urged him to continue in his efforts to study and recite the Holy Quran. Assuring the administration would continue its work to provide similar opportunities for young hafizes, the vice president emphasised the need to instill love and interest in the hearts of the young for the Holy Quran.

Minister of Islamic Affairs Dr. Ahmed Zahir, and Al-Hafiz Ahmed Nabeeh’s parents, Aminath Mohamed and Abdul Qadir Qasim attended the meeting held at the President's Office. The parents shared with the vice president their son's experience in the competition.
