President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has assured that the government is committed to implementing equitable development in all sports in the Maldives. He made the remarks during a meeting with members of the Racing Association of Maldives (RAM) and inquired about their concerns at the official residence of the president.
At the meeting, members of RAM shared their concerns and challenges faced in the development of motorsports in the Maldives. They also discussed the need for a training area and a permanent racing track in order to develop the sport further.
President Solih reiterated the government's commitment to implement equitable development in all sports and assured that the concerns raised by RAM members will be addressed through the relevant government offices. He also discussed the opportunities for the development of motorsports in the Maldives.
