Chief Magistrates appointed to three judicial districts

The Judicial Service Commission (JSC) has appointed chief magistrates to three judicial districts.

President of JSC Hisaan Hussain has handed over the letters of appointment to the chief magistrates. As such, Ahmed Adam was appointed as the Chief Magistrate of the Haa Alifu Atoll Judicial District. He has a Bachelor of Sharia and Law (Honours) from Villa College and has served as a Judge for 19 years.

In addition, Ahmed Shareef was appointed as the Chief Magistrate of the Vaavu Atoll Judicial District. He has a Bachelor of Sharia and Law from Villa College and has served as a Judge for 28 years.

Furthermore, Magistrate Abdul Razzaq Mohamed was appointed as the Chief Magistrate of the Gaafu Dhaalu Atoll Judicial District. He has a Bachelor of Sharia and Law from Villa College and has served as a Judge for 19 years.
