President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has appointed Ibrahim Rasheed Aboobakuru as Minister of State for Tourism.
Ibrahim Rasheed Aboobakuru holds a Master of Business Administration from Bolton University, UK. He previously served as the Managing Director of the Greater Malé Industrial Zone Limited. He also held the positions of Deputy to the Minister of State for Home Affairs and State Secretary to the Secretariat of the North Central Province.
Following the latest appointment, the MInistry of Tourism currently consists of two state ministers and three deputy ministers.
